What is the course about?
In a disrupted, fluid, fast-changing environment, leaders need to tackle challenges and grasp opportunities that do not fit neatly within the boundaries of team, department, function, organization or sector. This course aims to enhance workplace resilience.
Building resilience is essential in our increasingly VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) world, particularly during and post-pandemic as we move into uncharted territory. Change, and sometimes sudden change, such as the imposition of the recent “lockdown” can have a severe impact on our personal and professional lives. We are all constantly having our resilience tested in a variety of ways, and developing a strong set of resilience skills will have an enormous positive effect on the outcome of difficult situations. This course will identify what resilience is, how to know when resilience is absent, and how to restore it. A positive psychology and coaching approach will be used during the course.
