Digital media is ever evolving and is major part in not only a consumers’ life but in day to day business. Your ability to engage on these forums can be the defining factor in success or failure …for your business or your personal development.This course explains how to use and engage with the different platforms to deliver content more effectively.
This 8 week certificate course will focus on a blend of both practical and theoretical core concepts within social media marketing such as content marketing, consumer behaviour, platform analysis and approaches to social media strategies and metrics. The course will prepare students to navigate the social media landscape within the wider context of digital marketing. By the end of this module, students will be able to assess the social media landscape and have the tools to plan both a strategic and tactical social media marketing plan.
Who Should Attend?
There are no academic prerequisites for this course and it caters towards a wide audience. This course will suit people who find it increasingly necessary to be both familiar with various communication technologies and to understand how to use them for advantage in a commercial context. You will learn how to grow and engage a community around your offering and keep your brand consistent and clear through all the channels.
This professional development course will be delivered live online via Zoom by two options below. All sessions are recorded live for repeat viewing on our Moodle platform.
1. Taught one evening per week over 8 weeks for 2.5 hours from 6.00-8.30pm
2. Taught over 2 weeks for 2.5 hours every evening from 6.00-8.30pm
