What is the course about?
Websites are an ever present in modern life, at their core, websites are made up of HTML and CSS. Take the first steps in learning how to construct simple and responsive websites using hands on examples and exercises. Designed for beginners this specialisation will teach you the core web design concepts and lay the foundation for further training in web development.

This course is ideal for anyone who wants to take a foundational introduction into website development, covering the core concepts needed to begin your web development journey. Are you a full-stack developer who needs to gem up on their front-end skills? Perhaps you work on the front-end and you need a definitive overview of all modern HTML and CSS has to offer? Maybe you have done a little website building but you need a deep understanding of responsive web designs and how to achieve them? This is a course for you!
This 8 week professional development course will be delivered live online via Zoom one evening per week for 2.5 hours from 6.00pm-8.30pm.

Vincent McGrady, your instructor for this course has a first-class honours Msc. in Computer Science from University College Dublin, and a first-class honours Bsc. in Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin. He has a long history in the IT industry. Working in a range of Colleges & Universities across Dublin teaching Computer Science courses and modules he also works as a data scientist within the banking industry and builds and develops websites and other software solutions for businesses across Ireland.
