At Independent College Dublin, our current semester is drawing to a close and what a semester it has been for all our learners and staff. We transitioned all our programmes from classroom based learning to online delivery in a the space of a week due to Covid-19. Our campus may be closed but we are fully operational, with our learners now carrying out their assessments online.
Our professional courses are being delivered live online and recorded for repeat viewing via our Moodle platform. We are now enrolling for our September 2020 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes – the full list can be viewed here. We will be announcing some very exciting courses for our Summer period soon, all the information will follow shortly.

The Today FM School of Radio, in association with Independent College Dublin is designed to equip aspiring radio professionals with everything they need to know about how the radio industry works. The course is designed for people who want to learn all about radio, but who don’t have the time to dedicate to a full time programme. On Monday, 10th September Independent College Dublin hosted a FAM Trip and Irish Music Reception at our Dawson Street Campus, and welcomed over 60 international agents who attended the ICEF Higher Education Workshop that took place from 8th-1oth September at the Four Season Hotel in Dublin.
The evening included Traditional Irish Music and dancing, drinks, Hors d’oeuvres, and learning how to pull your own pint of Guinness.
Students may be permitted to transfer credit earned on a similar programme elsewhere up to the maximum amount permitted by the University’s regulations. Thus, students on other law degree programmes which are similar in content and level may be entitled to transfer into the later years of the programme. Students studying on lower level law programmes may also be entitled to advanced entry to the programme on the basis of their accredited prior learning. In the six years since its inception students undertaking the FE1 course have achieved a total of 28 Law Society Entrance Examination 1st placed prizes. This includes the Overend Prize for Best Overall Student Performance in each of the past three years.
